Individual Smoked Baby Back Ribs

The How To:

Ingredients

  • 2 Baby Rib Racks
  • 3 tbsp. Lowcountry Gold (binder)
  • 6 tbsp. K.C. Combo BBQ Rub
  • 6 tbsp. The All-American
  • Apple Cider Vinegar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat smoker to 225F.
  2. Pull *BABY BACK RIBS* out of fridge. Remove membrane from bottom if there and rinse off excess material on ribs.
  3. Flip ribs to be meatside down and cut between each bone. (should be between 10-12 ribs)
  4. Place individual ribs in a large mixing bowl and cover with LOWCOUNTRY GOLD. Mix around until meat is covered by sauce.
  5. Season and toss ribs with K.C. COMBO. Make sure entire rib is coated in thin layer of rub.
  6. Place ribs meat side up into smoker and after the first hour apply thin layer of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR to meat side of ribs. Continue to apply ACV once an hour until read to baste.
  7. When ribs hit about 195F internal, baste the ribs with thin layer of *THE ALL-AMERICAN*. Wait about 15 minutes or until sauce looks tacky and baste again.
  8. Repeat one more time.
  9. After the last baste is tacky, pull and rest for 5-10 minutes. Proceed to MUNCH MUNCH MUNCH!
    (Add sauce on the side if you want. The All-American and Lowcountry Gold are both good choices.)

Notes

  • You can use this recipe for a whole rack of ribs as well! They will need to smoke for an additional 2 hours if whole.
  • You can use the 3-2-1 method with these ingredients as well!
  • This technique can be used for spare ribs, but the timing will be different.
