The How To:
Ingredients
For Meatballs
- 2 tbsp. Ultimate Slice
- 1 lb. Hamburger
- 1 lb. Mild Italian Sausage
- 4 Garlic Cloves (Minced)
- 1/2 Yellow Onion (fine chop)
- 1 c. Parmesan Cheese (grated)
- 1 Whole Egg
- 1/4 c. Italian Breadcrumbs
- 1/8 c. Milk
For Marinara
- 15 oz. Tomato Sauce
- 6 oz. Tomato Paste
- 1/2 Yellow Onion (fine chop)
- 3 Garlic Cloves (minced)
- 2 tbsp. Ultimate Slice
- 2 oz. Red Wine (optional)
For Sammich
- 4 Bread Rolls
- 8 slices Provolone Cheese
Instructions
For Meatballs
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- While oven is preheating, mix all ingredients in large mix bowl. Once well incorporated, roll meat into about 1 oz. Meatballs.
- Place on baking pan and bake for 35 min.
- Pull and top with Marinara.
- MUNCH!
For Marinara
- In medium hot pan, place oil. Add Onion to pan. Once fragrant, add Garlic. Once Garlic is fragrant, add all other ingredients.
- Let simmer for 10 min.
- You're done! That's it!
For Sammich
- Bread. Meatballs. Cheese. Marinara. You know what to do.
Notes
- Add Crushed Red Pepper or Five Pepper Blend to sauce for a Spicier version
- Use Marinara for all things Italian. Pizza sauce, Spaghetti Sauce, etc.
